Garrett Jayson Wilking's life ended too soon in a motorcycle/deer accident on September 9, 2005. He was only 21. Garrett was a graduate of the Central High School Class of 2003, and was the son of Amos and Patricia Wilking, adored younger brother and brother-in-law of Amanda and Josh Beasley and a devoted uncle to his niece Madyson Beasley.

At Central, Garrett was active in football and choir. His desire for working with his hands led to working for his father at Medals USA as a crane operator and as a spotter at Weber Trucking. After high school he tried his talents working with a local farmer and attended the tool and dye program at KCC. He finally found his fit at a metals shop where he worked for a little over two years.

Garrett's one of a kind personality, thoughtfulness and caring for others allowed him to never meet a stranger no matter how near or far from home he was. He was loved by all and was truly one of a kind.
